GroundSwell Pictures is committed to creating films that highlight important social issues in order to engage and empower audiences to become part of the movement for meaningful social change. Just consider Super Size Me by Morgan Spurlock, which brought fast food and obesity into the spotlight. Al Gore’s film, An Inconvenient Truth, revealed startling issues of global warming.  And, Food Inc, showed us we really are what we eat.  These films paint troubling and unsettling portraits of our world, challenge our understanding of important issues, and compel us to act.

With the goal of Producing Social Change, GroundSwell Pictures makes films about important topics and explores the issues with eyes wide open, to engage viewers in changing the global community.
